If you're referring to the long line (tank to pump), you'll need to lift the body on the passenger side. Or, you can lift the whole body and replace the rubber body mounts while you're at it.

      Leonard:

To do it neatly and in one piece requires that the body be partially or fully lifted from the frame. Like Frank stated. Probably the best way to do this job.

It can also be done in one piece with the body on, but it will not be neat. Requires two people and a roll of steel fuel tubing. This method has been used many times. It is functional, but not pretty.

You can also do it neatly with the body on, but will have one splice near the rear kickup. You need to remove a tail light and come in through the opening with one section. The front section can be gently bent/masaged to fit in going from the front to rear. For the splice, you can use a Parker or Swedgelok (industrial) tubing fitting, OR use a tubing expander to slightly enlarge one end, and then do a silver soldered "slip in" connecton. Push back the spiral armour covering before making the splice, and then push it back over the splice after soldering. This technique was recently detailed on "the other forum", and the car was NCRS judged with no deduct.

        Leonard,

Another consideration is the condition of your brake lines. If you do the body off you might as well do the brake lines "while you are in there"
