      The first place to look would be for a blown fuse. The exact fuse location should be shown in your owners manual.

          I should have said that I checked the fuses first all were good. I also checked the electrical plugs on the trans and the backup bulbs. Is the backup light switch on the trans or in the console?

              The switch is located on the upper left (driver's) side of the transmission.
