1967 Dash paint

We my son and I are restoring our 67 vette convert .I have the dash out of the car the shop that is painting the car wants to paint the dash ears the part that holds the dash to the car with the pop rivets the same color as the car.I think the ears should be painted the same finish as the dash a dull dyed color and installed with black head pop rivets.The car color is marina blue the trim is bright blue.The original dash has dull dyed ears and black pop rivets.Also I want to paint the shifter console the em console also the radio side panels and the side panels that hide the soft top linkage the kick panel ends the inside bottom trim on the winshield on top of the dash.Can any one tell me what paint or dye to use on these parts ?

you dash tabs should be the same color as the rest of the dash. the pop rivets would be the natural finish then

That's correct - should look like the photo below, with black oxide rivets. The dash end tabs would only have exterior paint on them (including the rivets) if the exterior was black or white.
