    71 Radiator Fluid Level

Can anyone please tell me what the proper antifreeze level should be on a 71 base engine car with automatic and air? I drained the radiator and filled some; then ran the car and filled rest of way with heat on for 15 minutes with cap off. it is now about 2 inches under neck but now have fluid leaking from lower right ( drivers side) of radiator when car is running (and cooling with ignition off). Could this be due to the radiator filled too high? What is the proper level for base 350 with automatic and air? Thanks!

Seth, I fill my 72 air car about 6 inchs from the top. This helps with having it not overflow onto the garage floor after parking.

Thanks. Have identified cold fill line on side of radiator tank approximately 3 inches or so below fill neck.
