    Power steering problem l36

My power steering works when cold, after driving 10 min or so or a high rpm run threw the gears I loose P/S. I have a new pump, new control valve, and new lines , can anyone make explain this condition. The only part to change is the cyln.

    Hi James,

I'm bringing you back to the top of the list. I have a similar problem with my PS after it warms up.(Noisy when you turn) It's not new and I thought I might need to replace something. I'm interested in your responses.

          James

That is why I ask the question if you had no problem before you started the parts replacement then it could have been 1 of the items you replaced. With that being said sounds like your cylinder the seals inside are sealing when the oil is thicker cold then when the oil thin out when heated. So I would say your cylinder is the problem.

              Hi James,

Glad you solved the problem. Were you replacing all the power steering parts with replacement parts or parts that were rebuilt originals and if so, whom did you use?

              Thanks,

                Terry
I used replacement parts rebuilt by Corvette sports in Sheboygan, 920-467-2833 he ( Dick) will rebuild your originals.
