    Sportsman Points

Just checked my profile to check my sportsman points. I have acculated quite a few over the last two years. All of the sudden they appear to have reset since the convention, have the rules changed as they apply to accumulation of points?

    Wes,

I looked at your profile and it looks like you probably earned your Sportsman Award during the convention. You receive the award at a chapter function so I don't know for sure if you got it yet or not. Once you are awarded the Sportsman Award your points are reset and have three years to earn another 20 points to earn an add on plaque for your award.

Actually you have to earn 10 points between conventions to get the plate, participation at a chapter regional and national are required.

I understand that participating in the National with sufficient sportsman points culminates in an add on plate to ones sportsman award. I was unable to attend San Diego, but will be in Hampton. I want to plan my year to avoid any disappointment at that event.

Add on plate points reset to zero after each convention, because you have a convention to convention year to earn 10.

I am sorry to waste evryones time. I have clearly demonstrated my inability to comprehend the printed word. I had it my mind I had two years to accumulate the addition 10 points realizing the national is worth 5 points. Again my apologies.
