62i no serial numberon frame

I have a 62 and can't find the serial # on the frame thats soppose to be on top the frame under the drivers left hip.Can it be stamped and what does it suppose to say.

The frame part number can be restored by using frame stencil cardboard and a paint roller.

Here is an example how it should look like


applied upside down, second line is the date when the frame was built.
