    62 clutch fork replacement

Doing a body off on my 62 360FI. Now in final assembly. When I installed the clutch/brake pedals and tried to adjust the clutch, I found the fork had come off the retaining pall and clip (riveted to fork) was broken. The fork almost can be remopved through the boot hole, but, not quite. Before I drop the trans and bell houising, I wanted confirmation that that is the only way to replace the fork. Thanks Ed

My experience has been that you're facing tranny and bell removal. I haven't found a shortcut.

Rev Mike: Do you still have the FI filter wrench that I sent to you? Thanks, Mark
