Roger, My original Aug 61 build date radiator has an aluminum plate held by two very tiny screws.

Here are photos from my radiator, manufacture date stamped on the radiator is D 62 (April 1962). I believe the Harrison label is aluminum.

Definitely foil. The date stamp by April was on the top of the left side of the radiator. When they used the metal tags (earlier) the date was on the tag, not on the radiator. The differentiation would not be metal vs. aluminum, rather metal vs. foil.

Mike, are there no dates on the aluminum tag?

No dates on foil tag. Date is stamped on top of radiator left side.

Previously on this thread I posted a picture of a date stamp. I also posted a picture of the Harrison tag. I'm not sure I'd call the tag foil, I wouldn't necessarily call it a plate either. Guessing I'd say its maybe 1/100 of an inch thick.

My thread above is the best picture I can get of my aluminum tag/plate with two tiny screws holding it on. It is not foil.

No, it's not foil, because it is the earlier metal/aluminum plate. The later tag was a much lighter material, configured much differently, with no date, no part number, and no screws.

My Harrison tag is much different from John's and does not have screws holding it in place. Mike is my tag what you refer to as foil?
