Need help on bolt finish (rear end flange to backing plate)

    Need help on bolt finish (rear end flange to backing plate)

    Need to confirm finish on bolts & nuts.
    These are for mounting the backing plates to the rear end flange.
    The original bolts cleaned up and appears Black oxide. (I have seen some photos with these cad finish - assuming those are not correct).

      I'm accustomed to seeing those fasteners as natural or phosphated; there were no black oxide chassis fasteners on Corvettes.
