    Approximate cost of a Jack?

I've located a jack with the proper date code for my 1972 but I'm curious as to a fair price range for these. I've seen numbers as low as $125 (wrong date code for my car) up to nearly $300 for this one. It's in good working order, needs to be cleaned and painted and is missing the handle assembly.

    Thanks,

    Glen

    Hi Glen

They are sold between $200 and $300 regarding completed Ebay offers (for original ones). This seems to be a fair price with only minor additional work needed.

$200 - $300 seems fair if it is correct for your '72. I paid $500 for a nice condition G 7 dated jack with handle for my early '68. I am hoping I did not overpay.

FWIW, when I see something that' I just HAVE to have, I always tell myself that as long as the price isn't "movie-star expensive", I'll eventually get over the price and I'll still have the item, which makes me happy. If I decide not to get it and then decide afterwards that I should have gotten it, I will regret it forever.

Of course this is just me. Your outlook may be different.

As a well known Corvette dealer says "you can never pay too much, you just may have bought a little early".
