So many people living in Fantasyland, you would think this guy is in Disneyland. $1-2 million when done?

Dreamboat commentary. Offers a prospective buyer nothing with regard to history of car or documation there may be to validate his statements. Definitely fishing!

You can tell by the meticulous care given to this vehicle, as well as the significant effort to insure that all of the original parts were collected and categorized properly, that the string of owners who worked so diligently to maintain it would have kept all of the original documents in a hermetically sealed container. Even the lunch receipt for the original purchase negotiations is liable to show up, complete with a ketchup stain. With such a vehicle, the sky's the limit, maybe even $3 million. Let me get out my checkbook....

How depressing is it to look at that poor abused 63 FI car. On a gloomy day like this in SW corner of PA how bout some more cheerful pics up here. Thanks, JD

Wow, someone is living in dream land.....$75,000 for a body, frame and a block? Used to be a Z06? Doubt it, based on the description.

That price is crazy. The last Z06 I saw sell was all there but was all apart. I mean all apart!

It needed a complete restoration. The selling price was 40k.

Fair question, I would also ask who of the group here at NCRS think the price is reasonable enough to take the offer or even negotiate with the seller, given this ad?

Well...sadly, its a mess: everything of value seems to be gone, the front end's a bad replacement, the color is not the most sought after, and so on...

Maybe its worth 75K if we find out that there is good Z06 documentation or the "original" block is really a porcupine head engine...

i was at an auction in chambersburg,pa about 5 years ago when a corvette resto shop/collector's parts were auctioned off. one of the "parts was the carcuss of a"63 ZO6 tanker". i was convinced it originated life as a tanker(?year) but anyway, what was for sale included the floor pan and parts of the roof panel. the firewall was present but the z-bar lacked vin and trim. no frame or any drivettrain.the bidding stalled at 500 bucks(and there were numerous knowledgable ncrs members present). seller refused to let it go for the 500 bucks. he later died and i believe the carcuss is still in his son's possession.i bought midyear doors for 30 bucks apiece, some with latches, regulators, glass and vent windows. a box of 12 year wiper motor sold to the marylandmissile for 5 bucks. the most interesting piece, a nos 36 gal tank FIBERGLASS drain trough(it would have been bonded to the underside of the rear top surround) wnet for 5 bucks. it still had the gm part # ink stamped on it. i didn't buy it because the fiberglass was "translucent" and i knew my pair of tankers troughs where not trnslucent. a buddy got it for the price of 2 6 packs of the best.it was one of the best corvette auctions i've attended. mike

I'm truly disappointed, not a single taker at a projected 500% return on your investment! The advertiser could get even a better return on his investment since he already owns it, must not be much of a business man.
