C1 Tie Rod Color Codes
This may be shedding light where there is no darkness but I was rebuilding the front suspension on my 62 and when it came to the tie rods I looked up the color codes used. It appears to me that the yellow strips identify the end of the rod that is left hand thread has the strip. The light blue identifies the left threaded rod end and the dark dlue identifies the right thread. Any better knowledge out there?
