The openings, yes -- the dimensions of the "hat", not so much.

The cores that I used to get pretty much matched the dimension of the original, sans the holes. I have not recored a radiator in some time. I still repair a few cracked tanks, etc for a few people. Plain solder will not repair cracks.

The later radiator support would have a cut-out for the AC hoses to pass through. You have the correct one.
