Can someone tell me the early cut off point 1962 VIN for the NCRS Shipping Data Report? I have seen several different numbers for this and my 1962 is borderline either north or south of these numbers depending on which one I chose to believe. I would like to take advantage of this documentation but first would like to know if my 1962 VIN is included in the available information.

Re: Shipping Data Report Question
As you know, John, there have been several different numbers that have come out of official NCRS publications as to where in 62 the records start. I called Roy Sinor because he's the one who has the records and does the research and puts the reports together. He indicated that the records don't have anything before 6000 in 62, which is a bummer, since I've had 3390 since 1976 and still can't trace it's lineage prior to 1967.- Top

Thanks Mike, I knew that there had to be a specific positive starting point VIN for these available Shipping Data reports. Now that I know it to actually be 1962 VIN 6000 there seems to be no reason to go through two unnecessary electronic monetary transactions and get my hopes up while bothering Roy for what would amount to be no more than a fishing expedition on a dry lake bed. Darn, missed it by 945.
Merry Christmas to you, and to all Corvette aficionados on this forum of information and knowledge.
