    does anyone have a 66 block with a 351 casting # Just wondering how many are out there

    This just ended a few days ago on eBay http://www.ebay.ca/itm/corvette-1963...item1c2d1ff7b6

    The owner has had this for over 10 years. I thought I had number information on it but have not found it.


    Note that he states his is one of two known to exist.

        There was another one in Ohio back in 2005 on eBay with no vin

        Seller gave the cast date as G1-66, or July 1/66. There was no photo nd I can not post the entire auction page here.

        The following is his description,

        "Up for action is an all original 66 corvette 427 425HP motor.Short block has never been apart.Heads removed to check bore.STD bore STD rod and mains on crank.Factory GM dome top pistons,factory windage tray,4 bolt main,factory oil pan.Intake is a #3885069,heads are#3873858 dated F13 6 (june 13,66)and F23 6(june 23,66),block is #3904351.Buyer pays all shipping local pickup preferred,but will ship if needed i have never ship any thing this big so keep this in mind.
        On Oct-21-05 at 06:05:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Intake dated 6-21-66 factory aluminum 3 hole closed plenum.,block dated G1-66 (JULY 1,1966).I may end aution at any time.
        Sorry,No Paypal on this aution."
