I'm installing my new harness to the cluster before installing in vehicle. Never tried it this way before. It sure allows you to get the wires "just right".
I'm having one issue. After attaching the harness to the cluster with the 2 fasteners taped into the harness there is a serious interference issue with the 3 center lamps (Brake/Lamps/Hi Beam).
The AIM seems to show the harness located below those lamps. If done that way the harness will bend down between the 2 fasteners. It seems to fit better if the harness bends up towards the top of the cluster between the 2 fasteners.
Either way the harness seems to be able to knock those lamps out of the cluster. Perhaps my harness was built with the 2 fasteners a bit too close together.
Anyone have some pictures or input?
Thanks
Steve
