    C1 Windshield Wiper Motor

Installed newly rebuilt motor, coordinator, transmissions in my 62. Evidently I didn't orient the motor in the park position when installed. It overdrove the R transmission past the stops (powerful motor). I fixed the transmissin & reinstalled. I now have two problems:
    1. Turning the switch OFF stops the motor where ever it is. It does not return to the PARK position.
    2. the Bowden cable cannot be adjusted to get OFF, LOW AND FAST. I can get LOW & FAST or LOW & OFF, but not all three??

Have I messed up the motor assembly? What dop I do now? Any suggestions?

I would first talk to the rebuilder. Are you sure it worked ok before you installed it? Is the cable new? Why did you have it rebuilt? Bigger or stronger is not always better. If that fails call Tom Maxwell, long time NCRS member, he's an expert and rebuilder of early wipers. 301-948-9481.
