California license plate issue date

THis is somewhat of a lame issue but I'm hoping that someone on this site has a knowledge of issue dates for CA license plates of the 1990s. Specifically, can anyone tell me the initial issue date of 3LQU155? That's the plate on my '94 Corvette. I'm curious if it is the original plate to the car. The tab has to be renewed each year by March 22nd. Is it possible this plate was initially issued on March 22, 1994?

The state name was modified twice to increase its size. (The third and largest version is shown.) 3YAA-3ZZZ series not issued.

your blue on white CAL plate 3LQU155 was issued in 1994. I would guess it was issued on Mar 22, 1994.

Many thanks guys. It seemed to me to be a real stale question but I sure do appreciate your responses. They pretty much proved my hypothesis that the plate was issued new in March 1994. Thanks again.
