62 frame paint

The frame is to be painted with the asphault paint but what is the front crossmember suppose to be painted with and are the bolts to hold it on.What paint goes on the rear springs.

Larry, the front cross member also got the asphalt paint but was painted as an assembly before being mounted to the frame, the bolts will be unpainted as were the shims and zerks. The rear springs were also painted as an assembly along with the rear end components. When I cleaned the asphalt paint off my 59 rear springs, the top spring was silver underneath. The bolts used to attach the rear end assembly are ofcourse unpainted.
