    Correct key blanks for '64

    Hello group,
Does anyone have a photo of the correct key blank(s) for a '64? I recently purchased off E-Bay a set of 2 blanks which were advertised as "factory original" for that year. Now that I have them, I'm not so sure that they are correct. Thanks.

    Jeff,

Attached is a photo of both sides of the correct key blank for '64. Features to look for are the Briggs & Stratton address on one side, the "R" (within a circle) registered trademark symbol (for Jan '63 and newer blanks) in the RH image, and the "larger" of the two hole sizes in the knockout plug. These puppies are getting harder to find as time goes on, and therefore more expensive when you do find them.

I prefer Peter Lindahl for keys, he had 2 for my 64 with the original code stamped in by factory/GM. Perfect!

Lindahl also has the correct characters for stamping your key code. Dead nuts. They don't call him the Key Guy for nothing. He also has orange plugs for clutch shaft on the 63's. JD
