Sure-tite 28 hose clamps--2 styles?

Here are pics of two Sure-tite 28 hose clamps. Note the different styles of heads on the worms. One is round, one is hexagonal. These are on opposite ends of the same upper radiator hose on a 62k-mile car. Hose is likely original, but not verifiable, even though car is one-owner. Comments?

I am pretty sure all of my known originals are of the first kind -- with the hex head -- but I will look and post.

Reverend Mike, I seem to remember that the hex head screws came into being in the mid to late '60's, maybe even a little later? I am a little fuzzy at times. What were we talking about?

Still have my 71 for the last 38 years and it had and still does retain it's original clamps with the hex head.
