With C7 out, how do you rank each generation's styling?

Without splitting hairs early/late, chrome bumper etc. my ranking of each generation's styling:

    1/2/3/7/6/5/4

    What is yours?

Cue the "I hate the C4" posters.

Edit add: Mine would probably be 3/2/1/4/5/6/7

Personally, any and all of ours look better than the C7. I was not a big fan of the C6; I am not a fan of the C7.

          C2 Coupe & C5 FRC/Z06 of course I'm totally unbiased.

It's really hard for me to rate them because there is really quite a difference within each series. A C3 bumper car looks very different than an 82 CE, its hard to lump them all together.

The C7 is starting to grow on me in some of the less radical colors.

I like the new look and would rank it in first place if we loose the black wheels. I'm trying to decide if the 54, the 62, or the black 08 convertible will be the one to be sold to make room for the newest generation. My ranking is 7,2,1,3,6,5,4.

Everything before 63 was practice, everything after 63 was a copy.

It is impossible for me to rank because each year and evolution came up against different regulations and market demands. I remember when the '63 came out and a lot of pros and also cons (stilll no disc brakes, heavy frame, should have mid engine by now and on and on). Same with the '68 (too bulky, too heavy, too psychedelic and on and on). My only con with the new car is the tail lights. It is a remarkable car with much great engineering. The '53 was noted as "space age", the '63 as revolutionary, the '68 was called the Barbarella car (C&D or MT or ??), and on. It has morphed into a World Class car, at the expense of cost and limited buying market, but it is a great feat none the less. Working within the parameters given each year and the following it has had for decades the folks in engineering and styling do a pretty good job and I am thankful that the decision makers and bean counters allow it. I felt when the rubber bumpers came out that much was lost and did not like the styling necessitated by the bumper requirements---but I bought and still have my '77 and '78. Go figure. The more I look at pictures of the car the more I think it is pretty good, except the tail lights, but if given the opportunity I would have made some change to every year. Sometimes I have a problem remembering which year it is (look at my Avatar) and that evolution is a good thing that continually brings refinement. If I would have been a product developer on this car I would be very proud. Love the fact that brakes and transaxle will be cooled and underhood air will escape thanks to the racing efforts---and the Corporation that allows this activity. Now if we could go back to a single color interior without all the black highlights, round tail lights, allow for some deletions of creature comforts, ----

MIKE!!! --- I have thought that many times myself because they are my favorite, but then I have always like 50's and 60's Euro and Reventlo sports racer design the best.
