    Unidentified C.I. water outlet similar to 3711268 & 3827369

I bought a cast iron GM water outlet at a swap meet last year that looks very similar to a 3711268 or 3827369 cast iron water outlet as shown in my photos below. The casting number is very difficult to read. It might be something like "?75?610 or "?75?618". The bolts hole spacing (3 1/4") is the same as my 3877660 and 3972128 alum. outlets. The opening measures about 1 15/16", slightly smaller the the alum. outlet openings (2"). I have researched the partial casting number (seems to be the same as the GM part number for water outlets) in my 1957, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, and 1969 Chevrolet parts catalogs as well as my 1958, 1963, 1966, and 1969 Chev. truck parts catalogs without any success. I would appreciate any comments. Dave

If the part number is actually either of those you mention (or any other beginning with a "7"), then it's not a Chevrolet part number and the liklihood is that it's from another GM car line.

Chevelles use a similar configuration thermostat housing.

        My 1966 & 1968 Corvair-Chevy II- Chevelle - Camaro Parts Catalog (Jan. 1966 & July 1968) list water outlet # 3827369 for the 1965-1967 Chevelle (SHP 327), 1966-1967 Chevy II (SHP 327), and 1967-1968 Camaro Z28 (302) models.
