What is the going cost to replace from the dealer and to have it programed on a 2000?

They're about $90 on ebay, and you can easily Google instructions to program it yourself. Just be sure to get a NEW one.

Don't pay for programming. You can do it yourself right through the DIC !!! Look in your owner's manual !Or drop me a line when you get a remote !! Do you have at least one remote now and need and extra or do you need both ??

Ron, The remotes are also made by Dorman products now, I am not sure of the price. but can be had at your local parts store.- As Tom says can be programed easily.
Chris I was on line with dorman products and I guess that is one they do not make.- sorry
