Refurbish steering column suggestions

Now that I have referbished my gauage cluster I am looking at the steering column.
I stripped the paint off . ( Black semi gloss ? ) Thanks for any suggestions .

Wayne, 63 and 64 steering column treatments were not the same.
Refer to the JM for details.
My 63 has semi gloss to semi flat paint on the lower part of the column. The upper part is painted interior color Now I am doing this from memory.
The entire 64 steering column is black.
Now to wait for corrections from the gallery here. JD

Wayne my 63 column was painted a low gloss interior color about 10 or so inchs once it gones under the dash, The rest was a satin black color, the shaft outside the car is not painted should be natural.
