    Adding Vintage Air

If I add Vintage air to a 1967 427, would that hurt the value?
Can it be removed it when I sell it without hurting the value?

    Thanks,

If you are careful when you make the installation, save all the pieces you remove, it should not add or detract from the value. It can be removed and you will never know it has been there. Installed a couple of kits, not the easiest thing in the world for a fat old man to do, but a well engineered kit

I put Vinatge Air units in a few 62 Corvettes and I used thier small street rod unit not thier "direct fit" model.
Very easy install, but you need to borrow (or buy) a hose crimping tool for proper installation.
Also be sure to specify compressor mount on the passenger side and alternator on drivers side.

At least on the hi perf '62's GENERATOR( not alternator) is on the passenger side.

          Richard,

I installed it on my 67 small block car. Top flight car before and after install. Sure needed it in a black car! I bagged and tagged every single piece I took off and saved in the Vintage air box. Could not bring myself to drill a 5/8 hole in the firewall so I have the condensate hose in the cab draining to a plastic water bottle. Works great! I know car can be put back to original in a weekend if next owner wants it that way. Next car I get may have to have original a/c, that is unless it is a high horse car. Then I guess I would have to suffer!
