No "For Sale" signs, or advertising brochures are permitted in the judging areas at NCRS events. No one says you can't ask.

I cheated and looked at the NCRS Judging Reference Manual and keyboarded this:
"No "For Sale" signs, advertising brochures, business cards or commercial promotional material are permitted in the judging area. Small informational displays or pictures depicting a car's restoration process are welcome as long as they do not promote a commercial venture." Bold is mine. 8th Edition, ob cit, page 17

One might want to seek a ruling of what constitutes the "judging area," as that is a term not usually used and may have different meanings to different people. For example; does it include the Sportsman parking area? The reserved for Corvettes parking lot? and so on. Most of us know what the Judging Field is, but Judging Area? I seem to remember for sale signs in the Sportsman/year of the 1962 area at San Diego, but that parking area was rather divorced from the rest of the judging area. I have no clue what these different areas might be in Hampton, and that might make a difference.
