Re: 1967 power window wire routing
This may help a little. You should be able to see the clip.

Robert or anyone else do you have some pictures of the entire harness installed including relay and circuit breaker?- Top

Re: 1967 power window wire routing
Here's a couple of more views. One shows the breaker and one shows how the bundle splits along the rail. The section that goes to the console window switch kind of goes back to the fire wall then up to the clip then back down and runs along the floor next to the transmission tunnel. It then turns upward where it connects to the switch in the console. Hope that helps.

Re: 1967 power window wire routing
Thanks Robert. Did not see the headlight breaker or p/w relay in the pictures. Do you have one showing them?- Top

Re: 1967 power window wire routing
The P/W breaker is shown in the second picture, just below the courtesy light bulb. That little square thing. The headlight one is in the same area, it's just above the cross bar, just can't been seen in these pictures. It looks the same as the P/W one. It's just mounted higher. There is no p/w relay per se.- Top

Re: 1967 power window wire routing
At least on my '67, the pilot holes were drilled from the factory for the relay, circuit breaker and grounding lug on the passenger side. The ground on the driver's side is the screw for the courtesy light.- Top

Re: 1967 power window wire routing
Charles, this is how I installed the aftermarket breaker and relay in my '67, I followed the AIM best I could interpret it, as I stated earlier the pilot holes for the breaker and relay were drilled from the factory.

Re: 1967 power window wire routing
Scott. I saw a survivor at Gooding Auction last Friday. The two factory drilled holes where you put your relay is what was used to mount the relay. The replacement relays are to big to use both holes because the wire connector will not plug in. The original relay was smaller. In any event you have it in the right place and your picture is correct for future use.- Top

Re: 1967 power window wire routing
Robert, on your 66, did you have more of those green clips holding the power window harness to the crossbar, say at each end and in the middle somewhere? Or were any of the other clips the slightly larger black clips like those used on the radio antenna cable behind the cluster?- Top
