    72 Fuse Bkock Mounting

What size are the two screws that hold the fuse block in place ? I can't seem to find anything that works ! Is it possible that they are metric ?
    Thanks

Ray, I thought those screws were 5/16 hex heads. I don't believe the metric system was in 72. Could the socket that you are using be worn?

Thanks for the reply. I don't believe the are that big. they seem to be #8 or #10. I am having trouble figuring out which.

Rey, I think I have a (fairly) clear photo of an installed/mounted fuse block, including a (head only) view of the screws on my home computier. Would sharing this photo help you?

One of the Corvette Restorers I did while Editor had a back cover with four photos of fuse blocks of various years. I believe the newest was a 1970, and I know there was a 1967 on there. Inside was a story about the colored fuses, and the pictures illustrated that. I too might be able to find some of those photos -- I believe I have the 1970 -- if that would help you.
