      If I understand correctly I agree. I think to lower the car, you tighten the bolt, thereby shorten the bolt lenght.

      Make sense?

        Best go out to the garage and look for yourself. The bolts are in tension with the spring end BELOW the trailing arms. If that distance is increased by using a longer bolt, the spring ends (and the rear of the car) will be closer to the ground.

          It's been awhile since I've done these so I looked at your picture on the CF. The first suggestion was spot on.

            I just finished replacing the rear spring bolts. Got the OEM bolts from Corvette Central. Put it on a lift and it was an easy replace. Not a bad job at all.
            Then I put it back on the ground. Results, perfect. Didn't change the ride height by more than a 1/2 inch. Thought it might ride stiffer, but no change percieved. Very happy with the fix up. Thanks to all that responded.
