Board of Directors annual meeting is currently held in mid-late March and the secondary meeting is held either the day before or after the National Convention.

Most of the information is available - just need Rob, Gary, John be able to access and then someone needs to correlate it all together into a proposal that makes sense to the BoD. So, first you need ACCURATE number of total NCRS members; then ACCURATE number of members who actually are members of the TDB; then ACCURATE accounting by day; month; yearly of members who actually access the TDB - once you have all these numbers together then you can correlate against the DRIVELINE figures and how much it actually costs per member to generate those $$$$$$, etc.

The tools for actually getting the FOR SALE section up and running are quite extensive. Many of the tools have been bandied about in the discussions, as well as folks have identified themselves as being available to help getting the venture off the ground. So, I do NOT believe it would take much to institute if the BoD took the initiative to make it happen. We need to get out of the dark ages! Our society is a NOW, not a wait for it society.

        1) Actual members: 15,774

        2) ACCURATE number of members who actually are members of the TDB:
all members currently have a TDB account but so far 6,417 ever visited the TDB and logged on at least once...

        3) then ACCURATE accounting by day; month; yearly of members who actually access the TDB:
what do you really need, several reports are available (what day, month or year)???

        e.g. 2012:
        January 307
        February 322
        March 299
        April 289
        May 277
        June 263
        July 281
        August 270
        September 265
        October 277
        November 272
        December 283
        2013:
        January 300
        February 320

          Thanks Rob,

I've send a message to you requesting percentages of event participants who utilize the online registrations, purchases etc. If you can't access this info, tell me who I need to contact. It is evident the numbers of members using the TBD are low. One of our goals is to bring this number up. If we know we have a large percentage of online usage elsewhere in the organization, it will be easiler to make the case that it is possible here too. More visits equal increased advertising dollars.

          thanks,
          tc

I would check with a fellow by the name of Charlie Lillard. He now owns the Yenko.net website and perhaps can give you some good advise and direction. Here is his email.

            Best of luck!

Re: For Sale Forum - Solicitation for help

The number of members that ever logged into the discussion board IMHO is irrelevant. A for sale section, on its own is going to generate a different group of interest much higher than TDB and has the potential to attract a lot of people if done better than the others that are out there.

CF is a huge waste of time how it is done. Only thing good is requiring a price. Someone should see how many people are chasing parts there for C1-2-3-4 and then also look at what percentage could be pared away from the flee-bay.
