I would do it myself but due to health issues I can no longer work on my 1966 small block myself. The mechanic who is now helping me is working on the rear suspension and being the car is an unrestored 1966 with 169000 miles the spring will probably need to be restored if it is salvagable at all. He will not restore the part most likely so I need someone with knowlege to do it. I have done a search and I see there are no great replacements for this standard suspension spring. Can anyone let me know who may do this kind of restoration job if it is restorable at all? Someone told me it needs to be 11 inches high or it's not worth restoring? Thanks in advance, Bob Mazzetti.

Bob, The company Eaton Spring can do a re-arc of the original spring as long as there is no major rust issues. A on line search of Eaton spring should show up.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top
