    AIM databases

About a week ago I received an inquiry about obtaining one of the databases I made from the AIMs for a C3.

    I LOST YOUR EMAIL!!!!!
    Sorry about that.
please resend and indicate which year (s) you wanted.

They are still available and for the same LOW price.

the databases are taken from the AIM
each part is listed by sheet, section, etc with the quantity and torque ( where applicable). It is searchable by part name or Part #. The answer tells where in the AIM that part is used, ALL locations.

If you're familiar with using the Microsoft's Access for Windows (REQUIRED), using this db is very easy. Once the db is open you have the option of using the db, queries, forms, report, etc. Using either the query, open either the part name or the part number. A small pop-up window asking you to enter the needed info i.e. part number or part name, will pop up. A small table will open displaying all of the where used locations, assuming it is in the db.

Access is not a perfect database. It only recognizes the total correct part name, unlike doing a search in windows where you can enter part of the name and then enter an * and it finds all close matches. But there is a way around this. Open the data base. Open the data entry form. Under the header pull down of "EDIT", select FIND. Then a new query window will open. On the line of FIND WHAT type in what you are searching for, Select SEARCH ALL, Select ANY PART OF FIELD.

This should do that trick for your searches.
