C2 (64) Two More Exhaust Questions

1. The cast rings that hold the exhaust pipe up to the manifold on a 327, the ones I took off have a P C stamped into them. Does this signal anything? Original?

2. I have tall brass nuts on my studs. I'm guessing this is not correct, right?

Larry, the nuts that hold up the flanges to manifolds are stove nuts they are reproduced correctly, I believe that corvette central sells the correct nuts.

Those are "stover" nuts (prevailing-torque self-locking nuts); Paragon has them too.
