New addition to the family-65 Fuelie

Brought home a brand new (old) Corvette yesterday. I have been searching for 5 years for a 63-65 Fuelie coupe. Patience has paid off. 35k mile mostly all original car, except the rear end, but that's another story. Car had one repaint in the 70's. Details are: Milano maroon paint, STD interior, AM-FM, K66 TI, F40 Suspension (F40 shocks still on the car!). Interior is all original including carpet and headliner. Car runs better then I would have imagined. Absolutely nothing like a Fuelie when you go past 3,500 RPM's! Thanks to JIm Gessner for helping me find this one. One picture attached. Going out to the garage now to drool on it!

John, Congratulations on buying the fuel car. The '7380 FI unit is the best one Rochester made in the old days. JD

Looks like a great car in great condition. You will love the fuel injection on all counts. Best drive in a midyear road trip. Enjoy. Paul

I will try and get some more pics posted. I can tell you that so far in the 25-30 miles I have driven it, I love it. Runs great even on pump premium. Have not hit the summer months yet. We will see how she handles the So. Cal heat soon I guess. Just worked on the fan clutch to get it working properly. Stays about 180-190 right now idling at operating temp. The car has reproduction gold line bias ply tires on it right now and I am pleasantly surprised at how well it drives and handles with those tires. Have not driven enough to find a rut in the road to get caught in. That is what I remember from back in the day. I plan on putting a lot more miles on it then the previous owners (last guy put 5 miles on it in about 6 years.
