C3 Big Block Heater Hoses & Nipples
I need help to determine the correct heater hose and bypass nipples for my 69 427/390 w/AC and A.I.R.
Can someone tell me which nipples are supposed to have hex fittings, long or short hex, long or short overall length?
Heater @ pump?
Heater @ manifold?
Bypass @ pump?
Bypass @ manifold?
Would stainless steel be worth the deduct? I'm not shooting for Top Flight.
Heater hose kits sold by Eckler's, Paragon and Zip show two hoses. What appears to be the 5/8" hose has 90 deg molded ends. The 3/4" appears to have one molded end. Paragon and Zip told me the two hoses are to be cut to the appropriate lengths to make up the four hoses the car requires. Can any of you confirm that this works? No one could give me the lengths of the hoses.
