I have seen the one Crane is selling and the Corvette Central one. I linked the Crane one below. I am curious if these would pass judging or not. I did search the forum archives and there were 2 threads on this question, but no conclusion. I guess I have been living under a rock, but I did not realize anyone was reproducing this jack. I do have an original jack for my 62, but what do you all think about these jacks. The only real difference I see compared to my original, is the 4 machine marks on the bottom are much more perfectly formed on the repro. Thanks. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1962-CORVETT...ca2878&vxp=mtr

Re: Curious about the repro 62 Jack
John Smith of Bluejacket OK began reproducing 62 jacks back in the 80's. The jacks he reproduced then and today's repros seem to be identical. They are very good, and are detectable primarily by the machining marks and rivets and bearing. Do they "pass judging?". What exactly do you mean by that? Will they generally get full credit? No. Full deduction? Never.- Top
