    65 Tail lights

I replaced all of the wiring harnesses in my 65.Everyting works fine except for the rear harness. When I turn on the lights, three of the four rear lights are bright as if the brake was being pushed, the fourth light is on but dimmer. When I push the brake pedal, the lights stay the same.when I turn on the right signal,I get both signal lights on the dash flashing but not on rear.Turning the signal left gets no flash just the right indicator on the dash on solid. The tail lights are also new and the grounda are clean and tight.Could it be a bad harness? All help will be welcome, right now I'm looking for solutions.

Have you checked to be sure each light has a ground to the housing? It's my guess the light, which is dimmer, is grounded....the other three possibly not.

      Doug,
This sounds more like an issue with you column harness/ turn signal switch. I would confirm that the connectors are attached correctly (wire colors matching going in and going out). There could be an issue with the turn signal switch itself. If everything checks out, is it possible that three of the four tail light bulbs are installed backwards?? This should not happen since the fingers on the bulbs are offset, however, I have seen them forced wrongly into place before. The same with the harness connectors that go into the tail light assemblies. Pins are offset and should only go in one way.
      Hope this helps.

might swap out the bulbs and see if the problem follows the bulb - if not that then recheck grounds - then as Marco suggests the connectors - if the turn signals were working before you swapped out everythin the ts switch should be good.
