    Document validation service

I have a 65 BB Conv. The car was bought new from George Miller Chevrolet in St Louis ,Built in St louis ,and all 4 past owners lived in the St Louis area. 65s don't have tank stickers . I have talked to all past owners . No one has any paperwork . The only thing I have is copys of past titles and names . How can I get Document Validation from the NCRS ? Vin # 194675s117346. Thanks Bill

      Roy
Hope all is well. I am flirting with buying another 67 that purports to have it's original tank sticker. I looked it over well. Looks good to me, but if I buy the car I want to have it validated. I am assuming the original tank sticker needs to be sent to you correct? If so, what is the safest/most popular way other owners have send their docs to you? UPS? FEDEX? etc..Thanks...looking forward to seeing you soon...ARA

        Ara,
I would just take a photo of the tank sticker and email it to Roy for validation.

You can also just scan it into a PDF or similar format and upload it from the NCRS Services page you fill out., here:

            Re: Document validation service

I just sent a .BMP picture of a document for Validation Service. It took at most three minutes to complete the process.

Just wanted to pass along how easy it is to do.

            Cheers!

It's this easy! Don't send them original paperwork. I just put the tank sheet on my scanner and saved it as a jpeg.

                Patrick,
The listing of "headrest bench seat" is odd. Why to they call it "bench seat"?............

Wow! Now a bench seat in a Corvette is really rare, no matter what year, 1 of 1 for sure.....

Gene, you got me! I took the tank sticker off myself. It's a very late '67, #22526. Maybe Roy will chime in.

That's the way all headrest seats were listed in 1967 on tank stickers.

Maybe it's a carrover description from some of the other models built at St. Louis that did have headrest bench seats ?

Here's another, relatively same time frame as Patrick's--with headrests, tele column, speedminder, black vinyl hardtop, base motor, K19, 4-speed.
