'64 ignition & light switch removal from cluster procedure

I'm refurbishing my '64 cluster and want to remove all switches & gauges from the housing. Everything has been straight forward except for the ignition & light switches. Is there a trick to removing these? Thanks.

Jeff, if it's like a 63 then. Look at the switch (where the key is inserted). There should be one hole on the right of the key. Place a paper-clip in the hole and push the button in. Turn the switch to the left, with the key in, as far as you can, then pull out and remove the tumbler and the key. Unscrew the bezel and the entire switch will pull out from the back.

      Jeff,

In regard to the ignition, are you questioning how to remove the ignition lock from the ignition switch, or the switch body from the cluster?

        Jeff,

Harry got it somewhat right. Disconnect the battery, turn the ign switch all the way counterclockwise, push in the paperclip and gently turn the switch left again. It will pop out and then you can use the correct wrench to remove the bezel nut.
The headlight switch is easy also. Just pull out the knob and rod, reach under the bottom of the switch and push the spring loaded button. Pull on the knob again and it pulls out. Then remove the nut with a tool or large flat bladed screwdriver. Nutin to it!
