Hey guys..I have an original Canadian documented rare yellow on white 435 roadster and I am doing a full dash restoration. My question is ..I was going to have the orange and red on the tach face re-done but I have been told not to that it will hurt the value and leave its current faded patina. So what should I do?...thanks!

Depends what your objective is for the car. If it's a full restoration, things should appear as they did when the car was new. If it's preservation (like Star/Bowtie candidate), that's a different story - just clean it (gently) and leave it alone. If it's somewhere inbetween the two, do as you like.- Top

Greg,
If you don't plan on doing the work yourself, give Matt Patterson a call 864-414-1580 he used to work for D&M and now is on his own. He rebuilt our original '67 clock and it came out great. He is in the Greenville, SC area.- Top
