C1 Windshield Washer Pump rebuilding

I am looking for a person or company that can restore a C1 1958 washer pump and Vacuum Can with Value. I would do this myself if someone could tell me a good source for educational material or a how to video. Thanks for everyone's help as always.

One of the usual Corvette parts vendors sells a rebuild kit. But it has received poor reviews. Check the archives.

Note the rivets securing the pump to the washer reservoir lid. Tom Maxwell has special tooling or fixtures and the experience to take these things apart; rebuild them; and, get them back together. From reading the posts on this and other bulletin boards, it seems that Tom Maxwell is the only person who has had success with these things.

Also check the archives for articles on this system. You can find information there on them. But no "how-to's" on rebuilding.

Eric, I had my orig 62 washer pump & co-ordinator rebuilt by Tom Maxwell, it looks great & functions exactly as it should.
Nice people to deal with.

Suggest Maxwell. He did my 62 and they worked perfect and the unit looked great

First I tried to repair it myself, did not work. In the end I sent it to Tom Maxwell and now the washer pump works perfectly.
