1964 Trim ECL code ???

Where are the Trim ECL letter codes documented? Does a GM list exist someplace???

My 1964 Trim tag says 491CB (black & white) according to JG it should be 491CE yet the "Authentication Library" by Grenning & Sinor and Noland both state it should be 491CB, but where is the GM documentation?
Sure appears to be an editing error in the JG back as far as the 3rd Edition.

Still would like to see some GM papers - would make a correction to the JG possible!

Noland transferred the ECL information in his book directly from the Engineering Parts List, which makes the New York phone book look like a pamphlet; I'm sure that Parts List only exists today as microfiche, as it did when Noland wrote the book over 25 years ago.

Al why don't you bring this up to our new judging chairmen. Hopefully he will have his own method in making corrections to the JGs for these types of errors. Phil 8063

Thank you Gentlemen, Judging from John's comments on the source it would be quite easy to make an error. However I always try to obtain genuine GM documents before suggesting a change to the JG which looks not very probable. So the two documents listing it as 491CB and perhaps a written letter from original owner may be acceptable? Can give it a try
