    1963 Corvette ECL Anomaly

I looked at a car with trim tag showing 898E trim. This car has standard Wonderbar radio and no evidence of ever having had air conditioning.
ECL "E", supposedly indicates a C60 car with exclusion of U69.
    Production anomaly?
It is a low optioned car, with "unusual" color combo. Trim tag looks legit.

898E, coupe with leather, air (C60), no U65 (signal seeking radio) You need to talk with a 63 owner with air (C60)
What is the rest of car, color, approx Serial #, and so forth.

        Hi Joe,
        My coupe has 898E trim.
It was ordered and delivered with leather and U69 AM-FM.
It does not have A/C and never did. This was verified to me by the original owner's son and also by
the retired owner of the Chevy dealership where it was ordered and delivered in late May '63.
I'd also be interested to know the vin and color combo.

        Syd
