    65 headlights

My headlight buckets won't rotate up and the low beams don't come on even though the high beams and parking lights work. I checked the breaker and it appears to be ok. Have power in and out of the breaker. Power to the switch is ok. Bypassing the switch by connecting the red power to the switch to the up bucket activation wire didn't produce anything so assuming its not the switch. The lights and buckets worked perfectly last week. Will appreciate any thoughts on what I might be missing. Update: I rotated buckets up manually and was able to rotate them down with switch. Assuming up wire connection somewhere. Also is my problem with low beam related to this in anyway.

    Richard -

The "up" and "down" wire and the tan low-beam headlight wire all pass through the outboard 8-way multiple connector on the engine compartment side of the fuse block; wiggle that connector body and see if anything changes. The terminals in that multiple connector can become corroded or loose, and one or more can create an open circuit. Very common midyear issue.
