    Water pump bolts/studs for 1967 427/390

I have a 1967 427/390 convertible. Where should the stud on the water pump go? Mine is on the top hole on the drivers side. I believe it should be on the top hole on the passenger side. I also believe the outer threads should not be painted. Is that also correct?

    Thank you
    Alex

The bolt/stud is located on the upper right and the threads were masked (bare)

Yep , passenger side for the A.I.R. pump adjuster bracket. Paint I do not know.

When you say the upper right I assume you are referencing the passenger side. Thank you very much for the help.
