Just saw a video on u tube of what the owner says was car number 2. A 56 3 speed with dual four barrels. The car is ruff looks teal with white interior. What confuses me is the owner states all first production 1956s were dual four barrel cars. That Chevrolet started putting single carbs on the cars because of spark plug problems and that is when they decieded to make the dual four barrels and option. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?

Only 276 56's had the single 4-barrel 210hp engine, mostly later in the year; the other 3,191 had the 2x4 engine. The 2x4 engines came first.- Top
