    67 PG Modulator valve

Anyone know if GM still has a modulator valve that looks correct for the 67 powerglide trans. I've checked the LAPS stores, and the ones they have, have the nipple for the vacuum line recessed into the back of the housing. If GM doesn't still service this with a correct looking part, anyone know where I might find a correct valve? As always thanks for the input.

      Ray,

I think the 3745169 was for cast iron Powerglide. The number I remember for aluminum Powerglide from 67 was 3905487?

Yes, the original part number was GM #3905487. However, that was discontinued in December, 1971 and replaced by GM #5638205. The latter was discontinued and replaced by GM #352635 which was discontinued without supercession more than 10 years ago.

Want an original configuration valve? Find an NOS GM #3905487 (but it might be difficult).

Is this something that would be judged?
