Just finished the 1st pass of stripping my 66 with Captain Lee's stripper, seems to have gone pretty good but I have some question about the next steps. See below pictures of front end and driver door. I'm not sure how to handle the dark grey layer, tried to remove with acetone but didn't make a dent, is this a primer? Also, I found some white clay like material on the car, not sure what this is but should it come off? If so, how do I remove it?

Re: Stripping Question
Jim,
Next step is to let the bare body bake in the sun for a week or so to make sure the stripping chemicals are dissipated out of the fiberglass.
